Flygt DS 2720
Flygt DS 2720 is a electric-submersible, corrosion-resistant sludge pump, built to withstand the toughest job sites with corrosive and/or abrasive liquids found in mines, industrial sites and public utility applications.
The Flygt 2700 series of sludge pumps handle flows over 1,800 USGPM (50 l/s), heads to 200 ft (65 m) and solids up to 3 in (80 mm) in diameter. Available with power ratings from 3 to 13 HP (2 to 8 kW), these portable drainage pumps are made of 316 stainless steel and will handle extreme environments and unpredictable pH variance.
Product Features
- All parts in 316 stainless steel
- Nitrile rubber on wear parts
- Can handle pH variations between 2-10
- Modular design
Optimized for extreme environments and unpredictable pH variance
The corrosion resistant Flygt 2700 pump range from Xylem provides flexible and cost effective dewatering solutions for corrosive and abrasive environments. The range consists of both drainage and solids handling pumps, which are all made of stainless steel and can handle a pH range of 2–10. The Flygt 2700 pumps are optimised for tough applications in mines, industries and public utilities where the pumped liquid is corrosive and abrasive.
The uniform design – which incorporates a minimum of components – makes each pump both robust, easy to handle and service and keeps down the cost of spare parts handling. Thanks to its slim profile, it fits easily into confined spaces.
A convenient ring-shaped handle gives good manoeuvrability during installation, and serves as a sturdy stand when you invert the pump for service. The pumps are built to keep on working year in year out. We guarantee availability of spares parts for 10 years after we stop production of a pump model. With a network of suppliers and service centers throughout more than 150 countries, Xylem can offer you the support and service you require
